Named for a horse named Blackie, a friendly steed who belonged to everyone in Tiburon, Blackie’s Pasture has a paved trail that is a great for biking, running, or for a leisurely stroll. With beautiful views of the South Bay, gorgeous expansive green areas and the occasional art installation, Blackie’s Pasture is a favorite spot for many Tiburon locals.

Hit this trail on a clear sunny day for some of the most spectacular views in Marin County. The Tiburon Ridge Trail is easily accessible from the Bay Area – it is a relatively quick hike and offers many great spots to relax and enjoy the view.

This is said to be one of the most beautiful places in San Francisco with stunning views, phenomenal hiking for all levels and 360 views of the Bay Area. Keep an eye out for the dark petals of the Tiburon Jewelflower – this is one of the only places in the Bay Area where this unique flower can be spotted.

This exhilarating hike to the summit (2.5 miles) offers hikers stunning views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin County. The highest point on the island is at 788 feet and the mountain is home to thousands of native plants and three picnic sites.
