Corte Madera

There are many hotels in Marin County, but very few are as centrally located as the Lodge at Tiburon. Just moments from our Marin hotel is the affluent community of Corte Madera. Shoppers will enjoy The Village at Corte Madera, home to two department stores, Nordstrom and Macy’s, in addition to over 65 specialty shops and restaurants.

Larkspur

The downtown area of Larkspur is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The brick-lined sidewalks of Magnolia Avenue lead to boutiques and specialty shops, cafes and excellent restaurants. Another attraction to visit while you stay in our Marin hotel is Escalle Winery which is host to the Marin Scapes landscape art exhibit and sale each year.

Sausalito

Sausalito, meaning Little Grove of Willows, is a picturesque Mediterranean-style community with a nautical flavor. The downtown, a National Historic Landmark District, boasts a variety of boutiques and waterfront restaurants on its scenic marina on Bridgeway Avenue.

San Rafael

San Rafael is the oldest, largest and most culturally diverse of all the towns in Marin. Mission San Rafael was founded as part of California’s mission chain and the current site contains a museum, gift shop and self-guided tours.

San Anselmo

Sun-drenched and laid back San Anselmo is an eclectic mix of business people, entertainment folks, and artists. It is also the cafe and antique shop capital of Marin.

Fairfax

Fairfax has a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere with a mix of coffeehouses, small restaurants and boutiques. There is a bocce ball court located at Peri Park and the 54-acre Deer Park provides picnic areas and nature trails in a wooded setting.
